INFORMATION FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY

Bringing peace of mind for you and your loved ones.

We have all heard about stories of older people in care, and naturally, we understand that you want to ensure your friends and relatives are being treated the way they deserve to be.

Feel at Ease

Whether they have just moved into a new care home, have lived there for some time or receive domiciliary care, we work with residents to help them become less stressed and feel more comfortable and confident in their surroundings.

The activities we provide encourage group interaction, bringing a stronger sense of community into the environment and to help them make friends.

Re-Introducing Movement

Engaging older people in activities gets them moving in ways that, over time, they have stopped doing.

These are simple actions such as reaching up high, or picking something up from the floor; small things that we take for granted. Our activities gently re-introduce these basic movements to get the blood flowing and re-build strength. As a result, benefits include a greater sense of independence and an improved outlook on life.

Independently Organised Sessions

We also provide physical activity sessions to community groups who set up their own weekly events at local town and village halls. More information for this can be found here.

If you know someone who would be interested in organising weekly sessions, or think your friend or relative would benefit from our activities, please get in touch so we can call to discuss their needs.
